Hydration

During sleep, we naturally lose water through respiration and perspiration. After 7 to 8 hours without fluid intake, our bodies can become mildly dehydrated, potentially affecting blood circulation and increasing strain on the heart. To support rehydration and cardiovascular health, it’s recommended to drink 8 ounces of water within 30 minutes after waking up. Adding powdered electrolytes can further help restore hemostasis by replenishing essential minerals lost overnight.

Oral Health

After brushing your teeth, add tongue scraping to your routine to improve dental health and oral hygiene.  Purchase an affordable tongue scraper at your local health food store or online.  Alternatively you can use the edge of a spoon.

 Here are the benefits:

  • Reduces harmful bacterial strains which are the main cause of cavities and tooth decay.
  • Removes food debris, and bacteria producing sulfur compounds from your tongue, leading to fresher breath and a cleaner mouth.
  • Creates a healthy environment for your teeth and gums by reducing build-up that occurs overnight.
  • Renews taste buds, making food taste better.
  • Supports the immune system by eliminating the load of harmful bacteria.

Skin Brushing Supports Lymphatic System

Skin brushing helps stimulate the lymphatic system to flush out cellular waste. Use a soft-bristle lymphatic brush designed to target the lymphatic vessels just below the skin.

Skin brushing exfoliates the skin, reduces inflammation, minimizes fluid retention, and decreases puffiness.

How to Use:

  • Using the lymphatic brush, apply gentle, circular strokes.
  • Start at the neck, gently stimulating the lymph nodes on each side.
  • Move down to the collarbones.
  • Gently brush the armpits, abdominal area, and along the body’s contours.

Where to Buy:

Lymphatic brushes are available on Amazon and at most health food stores.
